Maya has had 1 litter and is now retired in order to enjoy her time training for agility to one day go into competitions.

Charlie

Anticipated arrivals of Charlie’s next litter of puppies should be around March 2024.

Prices are $2000 limited registration and $2800 full registration. Deposits are $250 “non-refundable”.

Emmy

We are delighted to announce the latest addition to the Lakeside family - an adorable golden retriever named Emmy who has stolen our hearts from the moment she arrived.

About Golden Retrievers

 

History:

They were originally bred in Scotland in the late 1800s by Lord Tweed-mouth to retrieve birds, especially waterfowl that were shot down while hunting. As a result, they are excellent retrievers and love the water. They also have a soft mouth which enables them to carry game without damaging it.

How are golden retrievers coats?
-they come in multiple colors from light to dark. They have double coats where it has a water-repellent.

*if you plan on getting a golden expect a lot of hair everywhere. Best way to prevent that brush out coat 1-2 times a week.
